It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your narrative can make all the difference.

I, Dani Leigh, have a lot to say! I have HUGE dreams! I have a million things running through my head all at once! God is laying it on heavy this time! I have learned through the years, I can fight God or I can listen. God lays things on my heart and often I let fear control me and I ignore him. I tell him I CAN’T do that. I fill my head with things like: what if I fail, what if I can’t afford to pay my bills, I have kids to feed….

Teaching, being gainfully employed by a school district, pays the bills. It offers job security. It touches lives. It offers me a schedule that works with my kids. For the most part I am able to be with my kids when they are not in school. Except, I am not. There are lessons to plan, papers to grade, classrooms to rearrange, paperwork to do…the work of a teacher is endless.

For 14 months of Tyler’s life I was able to stay home with him. Then our life was turned upside down because of the poor choices of a man we trusted to protect us. I had no choice but to work from that moment on. When I married Matt I told him if God gifts us another baby, I will not work and leave them in the care of someone else. I will not send them to public school. Due to COVID I was able to stay home with Livi for the fist year of her life but due to finances and lack of faith in God I gave up my work from home dream and put Livi in the care of an amazing woman and went back to work.

In 2024, I obtained a job at the school that I had longed to be at since I moved here in 2018. I was over the moon. Then God said, GIRL! This is not your calling. STOP letting fear control you and TRUST me. So here I am…TRUSTING HIM!

What to expect from this blog and my social media? REAL LIFE! Will I try to sell you things? Most definitely, I will! How am I supposed to pay bills and eat if I am not making money? Silly goose! Will they be useful things to help in your REAL life as a woman! Yep, of course! I don’t have money to waist so why would I assume you do!?

I will tell you stories. I will share testimony. I will share things that work for me. I will suggest other blogs, stores, books, food. etc….

So…Buckle Up Buttercup! You are in for a fun ride with me!

We will laugh together.

We will cry together.

We will learn together.

We will grow together.
